
An area man was killed, and a woman was seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Saturday afternoon in Ozark County. Fifty-seven-year-old Todd Huddleston of Tecumseh was pronounced dead at the scene, and 66-year-old Deborah Foote of Tecumseh was transported by air ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Huddleston was the driver of a motorcycle on U.S. Highway 160, and Foote was his passenger. They were nearly three miles east of Gainesville when the motorcycle cross the center of the road and struck the front of a pickup truck driven by 46-year-old Kelly Davenport of West Plains.
Huddleston’s death is the 24th fatality reported this year by Troop G, compared to 18 at the same time in 2022. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet. Davenport was not injured.
Huddleston’s motorcycle was totaled, and Davenport’s truck had moderate damage in the 3:10 p.m. accident.
