Mountain Home’s junior high junior varsity volleyball team went to Highland on Saturday and competed in the Rebel Junior High Tournament. The Junior J.V. Lady Bombers finished third on the day.
Mountain Home started off by placing second in pool play. The Junior J.V. Lady Bombers defeated Highland’s junior varsity team in straight sets with scores of 25-20 and 25-9. Mountain Home later topped Flippin in straight sets by scores of 25-16 and 25-14, but in their last pool match, they got beat in straight sets as Pocahontas posted scores of 25-16 and 25-16.
The Junior J.V. Lady Bombers went on to the Gold Bracket as the No. 2 seed. Mountain Home fell to Highland’s varsity team in straight sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-18.
