The Bomber Youth Football League has completed three weeks of its inaugural season, and so far, reports are that the year has been a successful one.

In addition, Edens says one thing that has been a pleasant surprise this year is the lack of issues he and others have had establishing the program and getting the season started.

The program has raised over $50,000 from a group of sponsors led by Clay Maxey Chevrolet and the Mountain Home Gridiron Club, but additional sponsorship from area businesses will always be accepted. Anyone interested can contact Edens at 870-421-2061.
The Bomber Youth Football League is also welcome to accepting additional volunteers. Edens says not everyone is aware of the importance of volunteers to the organization.

The season continues through the end of October. For the majority of the year, the teams have been split up as Mountain Home Blue and Mountain Home Gold, and they don’t always play at the same location. Edens says that won’t be the case when they host Harrison for the season finale Oct. 28.
