The Mountain Home High School girls’ golf team wrapped up its season Tuesday at Jonesboro. The Lady Bombers finished eighth in the Class 5A State Tournament at RidgePointe Country Club. Russellville won the championship, and Valley View was the runner-up.
Abby Edens was Mountain Home’s top golfer. The Lady Bomber sophomore was one stroke shy of getting an All-State honor with an 88. In addition, Anna Torres shot a 110.
Mountain Home head coach Dell Leonard says when thinking about how the team started the year to how it finished, he’s able to consider this season a success.

Also, Brynne Bonds represented Harrison as she shot a 108. Russellville’s Sussanna Manns was the individual medalist with a 73.
