Mountain Home was victorious Tuesday evening as it swept Russellville in all its matches at the Hanger.
The junior varsity team won their matches with scores of 25-18 and 25-21. Peeka Traver had 12 digs and Cara Jackson saw 7 digs and 10 assists.
The Lady Bombers varsity team continued the pace sweeping the Cyclones in all three matches with scores of 25-21, 25-21, and 25-17. Addison Martz had 20 digs, Ali Czanstowski posted 17 digs, 16 kills and 5 aces and Carson Schmitz contributed with 6 digs, 16 kills and 5 aces. The varsity team is now 9-11 on the season.

Mountain Home Christian Academy saw defeat on the road as they travelled to Valley Springs. The junior varsity team where swept with the Tigers posting scores of 25-13 and 25-15. The varsity team didn’t fare any better being swept 21-25, 23-25, 25-27. Kenna Riley had 6 kills, 8 blocks and 6 digs and Sydelle Sebree had 5 kills and 10 digs.

Elsewhere on the high school level, Cotter lost at home to St. Joseph 3-1, Izard County battled Yellville- Summit but was able to take the win playing all five matches 3-2, Melbourne was swept by Harding Academy 3-0, and the Harrison Goblins defeated Greenbriar 3-0.
