MH Symphony holiday concert to feature new addition

The Mountain Home Symphony will be hosting their annual winter holiday concert Nov. 19 at Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University Mountain Home. Featuring over 40 musicians, the symphony is led by conductor Bruce Shaver and this year’s holiday program will see the addition of the newly formed Symphony Singers.

Jack Clayton, Vice President of the Board of Directors for they symphony, tells KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News the newly formed singers fills a gap in our local area as many of the former community singing groups have dissolved over the past few years.

Clayton says concert goers will be presented a curated collection of holiday favorites along with new selections this season.

The show will begin at 2:30 and tickets will be available at the door for $10 payable by cash or check. Children 12 and under will have free admission to the event.
