The Baxter County Conservation District is taking orders now through October 27 for their annual fall harvest nuts and fudge fundraiser. Available for sale are Pecan halves and pieces, praline pecans, dark chocolate pecans, spicy pecans, chocolate pecan fudge, chocolate peanuts and more.
Baxter County Conservation District member Dawn Downing-Wahl tells KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News that funds raised go to support the organization’s various projects that help to educate the public.

Prices range from $8.50 to $13.25 per pound on nuts and fudge; $16.75 to $18.30 for 5 lbs of peanuts; and $77.25 for a Sampler Pack, which contains a combination of 8 lbs of nuts and fudge.
Orders are planned to be available for pickup the week of Thanksgiving. Order forms can be obtained at the district’s website at www.baxtercountycd.com or by stopping by the office at 406 W. Wade Avenue, Suite 2 in Mountain Home.
