The Bergman High School basketball teams wrapped up the Acorn Classic on Saturday by sweeping the host school. The Lady Panthers invoked the mercy rule as they routed the Lady Tigers 72-34. The boys’ game was more lopsided as Bergman pounded Acorn 72-21.
Ozark Mountain was swept by the host school in the championship games of the Jasper Junior High Tournament. The Junior Lady Bears were edged out by the Junior Lady Pirates 42-39. Ozark Mountain also lost the boys’ game to Jasper 33-30.
