The regular season comes to an end Friday for high school football in Arkansas, and for Mountain Home, a home playoff game is on the line. The Bombers will be on the road for a matchup with Greenbrier.
The two teams are currently tied for fourth place in the 6A-West. Mountain Home is 5-4 on the season and 3-4 in conference play. The Bombers are coming off a 17-point win over Van Buren on Senior Night. Greenbrier is 4-5 and 3-4, and they’re looking to snap their three-game losing streak. The Panthers were routed by Little Rock Christian last week.
The winner of the game will be guaranteed home field advantage in the opening round of the Class 6A State Playoffs next week, and Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says he understands there is a lot riding on this game.
