An early Sunday morning fire destroyed a Baxter County residence. All occupants escaped uninjured, but the house located northwest of Mountain Home was a total loss.
According to the report from the Mountain Home Fire Department, the alarm came in just before 3, and seven firefighters arrived at 20 Leslie Lane to find the house fully involved. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Personnel were on the scene for 3 1/2 hours with two engine companies, a support vehicle and two tankers from the Clarkridge and Midway fire departments. Four additional personnel were on standby.
