The Mountain Home High School football team’s opener in the Class 6A State Playoffs will be held on Friday. The announcement was made on the Mountain Home Bomber Football Facebook saying the team will be traveling that week to meet Little Rock Catholic.
Officials were unsure initially if the game would be played on Friday or moved to another date. Catholic shares War Memorial Stadium as a home venue with Little Rock Parkview, who also has home field advantage to begin the Class 5A State Playoffs. The Patriots announced their matchup with Alma has been moved to Thursday, allowing Catholic to have Friday night with Mountain Home.
The Bombers’ game against the Rockets will kick off at 7, and Friday’s game will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
