
Gasoline prices in Arkansas continue to drop. Average gasoline prices in the Natural State have fallen 5.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.99 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 29.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 23.3 cents per gallon lower than one year ago.
In Baxter and Marion counties, the prices range from $2.95 to $3.01 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Arkansas as of Tuesday was priced at $2.63 per gallon in Marion while the most expensive was $3.37 per gallon in Danville.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 7.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.38 per gallon. The national average is down 32.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 40.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
It’s the seventh straight week the national average price for gasoline has seen a decline. Arkansas is one of eight states with an average price below $3 per gallon.
