Tuesday high school basketball results include Calico Rock girls falling at Rural Special

The Calico Rock High School girls’ basketball team had a tough road trip on Tuesday. The Lady Pirates fell to Rural Special by a final of 69-41.

Mammoth Spring was able to sweep its high school basketball games over Hillcrest.
The Lady Bears topped the Lady Screamin’ Eagles 66-49. Brynn Washam was Mammoth Spring’s top scorer with 18 points, Tay Davis finished with 14, Adrianna Corbett ended up with 11, and Laney Young added 10 points.
Mammoth Spring also breezed past Hillcrest 63-39 in the boys’ contest. Garet O’Dell and Caleb Michaels paced the Bears with 18 points each, and Curtis Michaels and Ayden Matheny each chipped in 10.

Melbourne’s boys came up just short on the road. The Bearkatz were edged out by Rose Bud by a score of 55-53.

Marshall had mixed results as they split their high school games with Bergman. The Bobcats squeaked by the Panthers 69-67 in the boys’ game. Marshall had a different result in the girls’ contest as they lost to Bergman 65-38.

The Timbo boys had a rough night on their home floor. The Tigers ended up falling to Concord 58-29.

Lead Hill ended up suffering a three-game sweep on the road as they faced another group of Tigers from Valley Springs.
Lead Hill lost the senior boys’ game to Valley Springs 62-40. Lead Hill was led by Haygan Dotson with 11 points.
Lead Hill did not fare any better in the senior girls’ contest. Lead Hill fell to Valley Springs 72-26.
The evening began with Lead Hill’s junior boys losing to Valley Springs 53-25. Tucker Middleton was Lead Hill’s leading scorer with 11 points.

Harrison won its second game in the Clarksville Senior High Boys’ Basketball Classic. The Goblins beat Dardanelle 59-47.

Omaha’s boys notched another win in their home floor. The Eagles came away with a 74-67 win over Ozark Catholic.
