Man arrested after report of multiple dogs shot, killed

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Greer’s Ferry man for animal cruelty after an investigation found he may have shot and killed multiple dogs.

According to KTHV, authorities were notified of possible animal cruelty and found several dogs had been shot, and some had died.

Sixty-two-year-old John Hunt was arrested Thursday afternoon on five counts of animal cruelty following the investigation. He is currently being held in the Cleburne County Jail.
