Last week, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the appointment of Miles Wellein of Harrison to the Marion County Quorum Court Justice of the Peace for District 9. His appointment replaces Joyce McCalla who died in September of this year. Wellein’s term expires December 31, 2024.In the March Primary, Republicans Chris Carter and Tommy Dean Johnson will be on the ballot for the District 9 seat.
