High school basketball makes up the local Saturday schedule as a few tournaments will come to an end.
The championship games of the North Arkansas College Invitational Tournament will be held at the Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison. The girls’ game between Norfork and Mountain View tips off at 6, and Marshall’s boys face Mountain View at 7:20.
The Izard County girls will play for the Division 2 championship of the NEA Tournament at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. The Lady Cougars meet Riverside at 4:45 at First National Bank Arena.
Melbourne’s girls will compete for third place in the Goldfish Classic at Lonoke. The Lady Bearkatz take on DeWitt at 3.
Two area girls’ teams will square off on the final day of the Lendel Thomas Classic at Harrison. Marshall plays the host Lady Goblins at 5.
