Over 300 pounds of marijuana confiscated Monday

During three traffic stops on Monday, Arkansas State Police troopers confiscated over 300 pounds of marijuana from Arkansas highways, along with other narcotics and a firearm.

The first stop was on Interstate 40 East, where officers found 240 pounds of marijuana in a car driven by a New Jersey man. Shortly after, a trooper stopped a man from England, Arkansas on Highway 165 and found cocaine, fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a gun. Then a trooper stopped a car on Interstate 40 East and found 100 pounds of marijuana in a car driven by a California man.

All three men were taken into custody.
