A big fundraiser is coming up this weekend for a local sports program. The 23rd-annual Slappin’ Leather Texas Hold ’em Tournament is scheduled for Feb. 10 at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge #1714 to benefit Mountain Home American Legion baseball.

Lester White, head coach of the Lockerroom baseball team, says this fundraiser helps the teams with rising costs for equipment, travel and expenses.
