Fire damages residence in northern Mountain Home

A Friday afternoon fire to the kitchen of a northern Mountain Home residence was started by from cooking. No injuries were reported from the fire.

According to the Mountain Home Fire Department, an alarm came in just after 4:40, and firefighters responded to 205 Springwood Drive. The residence, owned by Robert Brozowski, ended up with 15% fire damage and 100% smoke damage.

Seven personnel were on the scene for 35 minutes with two engine companies, and six additional personnel were on standby.
