Baxter Heatlh seeking volunteers for hospital, Bargain Boxes

A key part of the operation at Baxter Health is its volunteers. The hospital is looking to recruit volunteers to assist at its main campus and its Bargain Boxes.

Overall, volunteerism is seeing a decline throughout the United States. Baxter Health Director of Volunteer Services Becky Rose was a recent guest of the Talk of the Town on KTLO-FM, and she says there are a few reasons why the Twin Lakes Area is following in that trend.

The Baxter Health Auxiliary is open to all men and women interested in serving the hospital and providing service to others. The minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old with parental consent, and for teens, it will go toward meeting the requirement of volunteer hours under the LEARNS Act.
