An arrest warrant has been filed for an Orlando, Fl. man following a purchase he allegedly made with a credit card stolen from a Stone County man. Twenty-seven year old Kenneth Wayne Lattimore is currently facing charges of identity fraud, theft of property and fraudulent credit card use.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an officer spoke with the victim on Feb. 13 about a fraudulent charge at Walmart. According to the victim, he received an alert on his phone while at home for a purchase at Walmart on his American Express Card which occurred on Feb. 10. He then contacted his credit card company, canceled the card and started a fraud case on the purchase.
CCTV shows Lattimore at the electronics check out purchasing a PlayStation 5 2 TB Hard Disk Drive, a men’s t-shirt, a boy’s shirt, 4 boys’ bottoms, and 2 Disney prepaid cards totaling $682.52. The customer service manager had to authorize the transaction and they were able to see an ID card was presented by the suspect. Wal-Mart employees didn’t remember any information about the card other than it came from Florida. The second video showed Lattimore exiting the front doors of Wal-Mart leaving with a small bag. He was dressed in a blue dress shirt, gray slacks and brown dress shoes.
During the investigation, authorities began an image search in an attempt to identify the suspect. Through the Arkansas Fusion Center, no match was found using facial recognition in Arkansas. After finding out the ID card the suspect used came from Florida, a search request was sent to the state of Florida. Several photographs were sent back including the name Kenneth Wayne Lattimore born October 18, 1986. The photographs matched the image caught by the Walmart CCTV where authorities observed the suspect leaving the store and parking lot in a black SUV.
A criminal history check for Lattimore shows he has been previously arrested multiple times for crimes such as possession of a controlled substance, resisting an officer with violence, trespass, burglary, robbery and criminal use of personal identification.
Lattimore is facing charges of non-financial identity fraud, theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit card and habitual offenses with a bond of $25,000.
