A Mountain Home resident recently claimer her winnings in the Natural State Jackpot.According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, Mountain Home Resident B. Patel claimed her prize of $260,000 on March 11. The winning ticket was sold at Phillips Express located on Buzzard Roost Road. Patel’s winning numbers were 3, 5, 13, 23 and 27.
Patel states her and her boyfriend purchased the winning ticket on March 8 while running errands. She said her and her boyfriend have developed a routine where he buys the tickets and they consult each other about which numbers to select.
For their winning ticket, the couple purchased a $1 ticket for that night’s Natural State Jackpot drawing and used their birthdays as their digits.
Following Patel’s win, the Natural State Jackpot reset to $50,00 and has already climbed to $60,000.
