The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a free boater education course April 13 from 9 to 3 at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center at Bull Shoals Dam.The course is recommended for all boaters and required for any boat operator born after Jan. 1, 1986.The course will cover general boating and water safety, boat operation and maintenance, trailing a vessel and state-specific boating laws.
