An Ava woman was seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash in Ozark County Thursday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the victim as 55-year-old Teresa L. Miller of Ava.
According to the incident report, Miller was traveling southbound on Missouri Highway JJ, four miles south of Squires, when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and overturned.
Miller was transported by air evac helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
