A federal grant from the U. S. Department of Transportation will help project teams from Go Forward Pine Bluff and the University of Arkansas with revitalizations of Pine Bluff’s downtown area. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports Pine Bluff is one of 132 communities sharing in a $3.3 billion grant program aimed at improving access to daily needs. Pine Bluff will benefit from nearly $550,000 and is the only city from Arkansas to receive some of the grant money.
