
Ozark County officials are searching for the driver of a pickup truck following an accident.
According to a report from KYTV, Ozark County Emergency Services received a call from a woman on Tuesday shortly after midnight to report her boyfriend’s pickup had been swept off Warren Bridge northeast of Gainesville.
The pickup was found about 100 feet downstream from the bridge around 7:30. Rescuers did not manage to retrieve the vehicles until 1 in the afternoon. The driver was not inside the vehicle.
The Dora Volunteer Fire Department, Caney Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department, Ozark County Ambulance, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office responded to the search on Tuesday.
