A section of a highway north of Mountain Home where an accident claimed the lives of four people in March is scheduled to undergo some work soon to hopefully make it safer according to Arkansas State Representative Stetson Painter of Mountain Home. The crash March 13 killed 24-year-old Savannah Burton, seven-year-old Londyn Cooney, two-year-old Paris Cooney and six-month-old Sydney Steele, all of Mountain Home.

The crash report from the Arkansas State Police indicates the vehicle driven by Burton, which was northbound, left State Highway 201 just before the Pigeon Creek Bridge and went into Lake Norfork.

Painter says he was contacted by several constituents after the accident expressing concern for that section of road where there have been several accidents over the years.
