The Mountain Home High School baseball team was able to clinch the 5A-West’s final spot in the upcoming Class 5A State Tournament after sweeping its doubleheader over Alma on Friday. The Bombers topped the Airedales 5-4 in the opener, and they came away with the 5-4 win in the late game. Mountain Home improves to 17-11-1 on the season, and their first opponent in the state tournament will be Lady Hamilton Thursday morning at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.
