A few area track and field athletes were at Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy on Wednesday for the Arkansas Meet of Champions.
Mountain Home finished fifth on the boys’ side with the win going to Fayetteville. Individually for the Bombers, Zach Daugherty won the pole vault, Eli Jones was second in the shot put, and Levi Uchtman ended up third in the high jump.
In the girls’ results, Yellville-Summit took 25th place as the win was captured by Bentonville. KJ Moore had the Lady Panthers’ top performance as she finished third in the long jump.
