Teams being accepted for MH Parks and Recreation Summer Youth Baseball, Softball

The Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Summer Youth Baseball and Softball Leagues are continuing to accept teams to register for the upcoming season. Head Coaches will need to complete the registration form and have team payment made by 4 Friday afternoon.

The entry fee is $350 per team, and each team is allowed a maximum of 12 players. Divisions will be based off of players’ grades from the current school year. For baseball, the divisions will be third and fourth grades, fifth and sixth grades and seventh through ninth grades. The divisions for softball will be third and fourth grades, fifth and sixth grades and seventh and eighth grades.

Teams will need to be formed with kids attending the same district. Example districts include Mountain Home, Mountain Home Christian Academy, Cotter, Flippin, Bakersfield, etc.

Practices begin May 27, and the season starts June 17. Game nights are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Fridays will be used for makeup games if necessary.

Mountain Home Parks and Recreation will provide the game schedules and game balls. Teams will be responsible for their own names, uniforms, gear and equipment.
