High school baseball and softball make up the local Tuesday schedule as the postseason continues in Missouri.
After Monday’s rainout, two local baseball teams will try again to compete in the semifinals of the Class 2, District 10 Tournament at Mansfield. Bakersfield faces Gainesville at 5.
A state tournament bid is on the line for Dora’s baseball team as they will be in front of the home crowd for the title game of the Class 1, District 4 Tournament. The host Falcons take on top-seeded Norwood at 3.
The Hollister baseball team returns to Logan-Rogersville High School for the semifinals of the Class 4, District 10 Tournament. The Tigers play the host and top-seeded Wildcats at 4:30.
Forsyth’s baseball team will have its opener in the Class 3, District 11 Tournament at Strafford. The top-seeded Panthers will take the field for their semifinal game at 6 as they’ll be paired with the winner of the 2:00 game between Sparta and Conway.
The Forsyth softball team will be on the road to begin its run in the Class 2 State Tournament. The Lady Panthers will take part in the quarterfinals as they meet Diamond. The first pitch is scheduled for 5.
