The attorney representing Bryan Malinowski’s family, Bud Cummins, will testify before the full House Judiciary Committee on May 22nd.

Malinowski, who served as director at the Clinton National Airport, was fatally shot during an ATF raid in the early morning hours of March 19th. The ATF was executing a search warrant as part of an investigation into the alleged selling of firearms without a license.

That House committee has oversight of the ATF, the Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sending a letter on April 22 demanding information on the planning and execution of their deadly raid. In that letter, Jordan said the “circumstances surrounding the raid, the subsequent death of Mr. Malinowski, and recent related rulemaking by the ATF raises serious questions about the weaponization of the agency against Americans.”

Cummins will speak before the House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government at 10 a.m. on May 22, and the chairman of the ATF is set to appear on May 23.
