Two area high school baseball teams squared off in the semifinals of the Class 5, District 6 Tournament Thursday at Branson. West Plains was eliminated by the host Pirates with a 15-2 decision. The Zizzers’ season ends with a record of 24-5. Branson improves to 26-10, and they’ll face top-seeded Willard for the district title on Saturday.
