‘Howl on Wheels’ to make stop in Mountain Home

The Twin Lakes Area will be one of the stops members of the athletics department at Arkansas State will be making. The “Howl on Wheels Red Wolves Road Show” will be at Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company in downtown Mountain Home on May 31.

Beginning Monday and continuing through June 18, the A-State coaches’ caravans will make five stops throughout Arkansas and one in Memphis. Each event is open to the public and will feature an official program with appearances from multiple Red Wolves’ coaches, including head football coach Butch Jones, head women’s basketball coach Destinee Rogers and head men’s basketball coach Bryan Hodgson. According to the university, Vice Chancellor of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeff Purinton and Chancellor Dr. Todd Shields are expected to join the coaches at the events.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Members of the Red Wolves Foundation, Alumni Association and advancement staff will also attend to provide updates related to A-State.

The doors for the show at Rapp’s Barren will open at 5:30, and the program will start a half hour later. While it is not required for an attendant to RSVP, it is encouraged by calling 870-972-2401 or by clicking here.
