An area woman suffered what was termed a suspected minor injury when her vehicle ran off the roadway and rolled over southeast of Mountain Home Monday afternoon. Fifty-one-year-old Trina Stair of Mountain View was transported to Baxter Health.
According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Stair and a 15-year-old male passenger were traveling on Baxter County Road 69. Stair was reportedly attempting to negotiate a left hand curve, and her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then went across the road, hit a ditch head-on and rolled over. The rear passenger side reportedly struck a fence and a cedar tree in the process of overturning. The vehicle came to a rest on its wheels in the ditch.
The report indicates the juvenile was not injured, but he was also transported to the hospital. Stair was cited for failure to maintain control.
Damage to Stair’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000 following the 2:24 p.m. accident.
