It was a historic Republican National Convention (RNC) that wrapped up in Milwaukee Thursday night following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, and a Mountain Home man was part of the process. Richard Caster was elected by the Republican Party of Arkansas to represent the state at the RNC as part of the nominating process and was even seen on national television a few times.

Caster, who is the State Committeeman for Baxter County, was one of 38 Trump delegates from Arkansas to go to the RNC. He says the attempt on Trump’s life was a rallying point for those in attendance.
