Local non-profit Kindness, Inc. will be hosting a meet and greet on Wednesday as a chance for the public to meet the volunteers and learn more about what they do for our community. Debbie Wamock, the Executive Director for Kindness, Inc., was a guest on a recent episode of KTLO’s Talk of the Town, and she says Kindness, Inc. is a volunteer-based transportation service the helps the elderly and disabled make the trip for essential services.
Wamock says prior to the COVID-19 pandemic they were able to provide much more assistance for clients, but due to the drop in volunteerism they’ve had to concentrate on helping with medical appointments.
The meet and greet will go from 2 to 5 on July 24th at 424 West North Street in Mountain Home. Those interested in joining, or anyone wanting to know more about Kindness, Inc. are invited to come by to enjoy some cookies, drinks, and discuss the efforts in helping the elderly or disabled.
Anyone with questions can contact Kindness, Inc. by calling (870) 425-6475, or reach out by email at infoatkindnessinc@gmail.com.
