A Clarkridge woman suffered what was termed a “suspected minor injury” when her vehicle rear-ended a garbage truck Thursday afternoon in northern Baxter County. Fifty-eight-year-old Linda Sloan was transported by a private vehicle to Baxter Health.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Sloan was traveling on County Road 37. She reportedly couldn’t tell the garbage truck in front of her, driven by 36-year-old Charles Harrawood of Lead Hill, was at a complete stop and hit its rear end. Harrawood was not injured in the 12:47 p.m. accident.
Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $5,000.
