A Mountain Home woman has been arrested after breaking into a home, twice. Sixty-year-old Jeanine Jaramillo is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on a felony charge.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Mountain Home Police Department, officers were called to the residence at 3:30 the morning of July 1 for a report of a residential burglary in progress. When the homeowner confronted the intruder, she left.
Police were called back to the same house at 9:00 that morning when Jaramillo showed back up and struck the homeowner when he opened a door. The homeowner was able to hold Jaramillo down until officers arrived.
Jaramillo said she was injured and was transported to the hospital.
One week later, Jaramillo went to the police station to file a report saying she had been beaten by the homeowner. When she was informed she was being arrested for residential burglary, she said she was having a panic attack and again had to be taken to the hospital.
Jaramillo is facing a felony charge of residential burglary. Her bond is set at $10,000.
