Matt Kelly and Brandon Maple were able to win the Dan Boever Member Appreciation Event Friday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. Kelly and Maple shot a nine-under-par 27 to capture the Championship Flight in the nine-hole outing.
Jim Wood and John Campbell took the tiebreaker for second place over Randy Lunceford and Al Pearson. Both teams ended up two strokes off the lead.
Mike Vawter and Cole Principato won the A Flight with a four-under-par 32. Another tiebreaker was needed for second place as three teams were one stroke back. Glenn Chamberlain and Holt Dye won the tiebreaker, Brent Edens and Brad Schulz finished third, and Bob Crider and Eric Lunnen were fourth.
Steve and Stephanie Sinor won the Mixed and Ladies Flight with a two-under-par 34. Elska and Dennis Hoshman took second place at five strokes back, and David and Judy Matty finished third with a 40.
