The Mountain Home Water Department will begin a water main replacement project starting Tuesday. The project will includes areas along East 9th Street from Dryer Street to Bean Street and Bean Street to Fern Avenue.
Officials state the project will upgrade the existing main to a new, more reliable system. Following the completion of the project, the Mountain Home Street Department will carry out an asphalt overlay on the affected roads.
Motorists should be advised there may be road closures, temporary water service interruptions and limited access to driveways during this time.
