
A Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department program for youth in third through fifth grades is getting ready for its second year. The Trailblazers Bike Club is a six-week program introducing kids to bike safety and bike handling skills.
The cost is $20 per rider. The course starts Sept. 10 and continues through Oct. 15. Classes will be Tuesday evenings from 5 to 6:15 at Cooper Park and is limited to 10 kids.
Bikes are provided, and personal helmets are encouraged. Entrants must know how to ride a bicycle unassisted.
