MH sweeps benefit football games over CAC

Mountain Home had a successful tuneup for the upcoming football season as they swept a pair of benefit games over Central Arkansas Christian on Tuesday.

The Bombers put the mercy rule in effect in the high school game as they routed the Mustangs 56-21. Mountain Home will have two more events at Bomber Stadium. First Security Bomberfest is scheduled for this Friday, and the season opener is Aug. 30 as they host West Plains in the inaugural Battle of the Border game.

Mountain Home also took the freshman contest as they defeated CAC by a final of 34-12. The Junior Bombers will begin their 2024 campaign Aug. 29 when they entertain Batesville.
