The Baxter County Fair continues Friday with more events in the livestock show arena. The cattle, goat and sheep grooming contest will be held from 9 to noon. The livestock skill-a-thon is scheduled for 1, and the all-around showman event will immediately follow.
Commercial booths will be open from 10 to 9. The carnival gets started at 5 and will continue through closing time. Friday night’s musical performance will be from the Newco Band on the outdoor stage from 7 to 9.
