A former Twin Lakes Area teacher is accused of inappropriately touching a minor and sending a nude photo of himself to another. Thirty-four-year-old Adam Willis of Flippin was booked Friday into the Marion County Law Enforcement Center on a felony count of second-degree sexual assault and a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a Marion County investigator received a report this past New Year’s Eve of a 14-year-old teenager receiving the photo from Willis through a social media platform. The investigator was able to obtain the photo and messages sent to the victim. Willis allegedly sent the photo before 2 that afternoon.
While the investigation was ongoing, the investigator located a second underage victim. They were reportedly both living at a residence outside of Flippin, and Willis would allegedly touch the child inappropriately. The victim was reportedly at the age of 4 when the incidents started, and they continued until the child was 6.
Willis is a former teacher in the Cotter School District. Cotter Superintendent Jayme Jones confirmed Willis’ employment was terminated at the beginning of last year.
Willis was released less than an hour after being booked on a bond of $25,000. He is ordered to have no contact with the victims.
