Arkansas State Police (ASP) agents have arrested 60-year-old Dr. Sudesh Banaji of Forrest City on six felony counts of sexual assault in the second degree and one felony count of rape.
The arrest came at the request of the 1st Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office following an investigation by ASP into allegations that Banaji had made inappropriate sexual contact with female patients during examinations at his Forrest City Clinic.
Banaji is being held at the Cross County Detention Center on a $35,000 bond.
