The Mountain Home High School golf teams hosted Jonesboro and Greene County Tech Thursday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club.
The Bombers won the boys’ side with a team total 305. The Hurricane finished second at 331, and the Golden Eagles were third at 337.
Mountain Home had three golfers in the top four. Cody Cormican picked up another medalist honor with a 73. Jack Coleman tied Jonesboro’s Noah Reed for second place after both finished three strokes off the lead, and Chace Berwald ended up fourth with a 77.
The Lady Bombers took second place in the girls’ division at 310. Tech won the event at 267, and Jonesboro finished third at 327.
Mountain Home’s Abby Edens was in a three-way tie for second place with the Lady Eagles’ Addy Davis and Sophie Wallace after they all shot a 91. Also for the Lady Bombers, Anna Torres ended up fifth with a 101, and Ashley Smith had a 118. Tech’s Liza McIlvoy was the medalist with an 85.
