A man from Louisiana has been killed in a motorcycle crash in Boone County. Sixty-two-year-old Richard Zaunbrecher of Carencro died in the accident Tuesday afternoon north of Harrison.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, the accident happened when Zaunbrecher failed to obey a flashing traffic control signal, changed lanes and struck the rear of the vehicle in front of him.
Zaunbrecher was taken to North Arkansas Medical Center for treatment where he died from his injuries.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 65 in the Burlington area at 2:15 Tuesday afternoon.
