Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will host its fundraiser for Special Olympics Missouri next month in the Twin Lakes Area. The eighth-annual Angling for Athletes Benefit Buddy Bass Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 5 from 7 to 3 at Theodosia Marina-Resort on Bull Shoals Lake.
The entry fee is $120 per two-person team. Anglers must have a valid fishing permit from Missouri or Arkansas.
Payout will be 45% of total entries. The entry fee does not include the big bass of the tournament, which will be awarded as a prize pack with retail value in excess of $1,000.
