A Bono woman has been arrested after a Mountain Home man alleged she stole his vehicle. Twenty-eight-year-old Katlind Rounsaville is facing felony charges of theft for the incident.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on July 11, the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call about a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, the victim stated he had traveled to Bono to pick up his friend, Rounsaville, a few days prior.

The victim stated he let Rounsaville stay with him as she needed a place to stay. Once at his home, he observed Rounsaville carrying a suitcase and her dog, walking toward his vehicle, getting in, and driving away. The victim told authorities he had left his keys and cell phone in the car. When asked why he waited so long to report the incident, he said he believed Rounsaville would return the vehicle.

Deputies contacted both the Bono and Paragould police departments, as the victim’s driver’s license showed a Paragould address, to request further information on Rounsaville. A search revealed she had a suspended driver’s license. On July 14, investigators were sent two videos showing the victim’s vehicle being occupied by two males in Newport.

Rounsaville was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on felony charges of theft of property. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
